It is ranked with a score of 8.6*, the highest mean score in the entire publication, and more than a full point clear of its nearest rival. Barprium is ranked #6 overall in BSPB/STRI Turfgrass Seed 2023 booklet Table L1 and as a new cultivar in G4 with a mean score of 7.0 which demonstrates its ability to create a high-quality sward at low heights of cut. The remainder of the product is made up of highly ranked varieties of red fescue: strong creeping red Barrisse and slender creeping red Barpearl. The fescue content in this mixture combines with the ryegrass to create a turf with exceptional density and high disease tolerance.
